The most important key to success in all highly competitive engineering works is to develop, train, re-train, and support each of our employees’ personal growth. SW & Sons constantly train and re-train our employees from top management to "shop floor" workers in-house, outside, and aboard in cross-functional teamwork basis. Knowledge of training will be fully supported and implemented in real life by initiate Action Plans, Kaizens, "Work-Out", and TQM activities to: 1) process cost reduction, 2) reduce all 7 wastes, and 3) increase productivity. We regularly provide opportunity to rotate leadership and skills in each division, department, and section within our group company for knowledge transfer and new initiatives. Most and important of all is each and everyone at S.W. & Sons will receive fair rewards based on his/her performances generated and contributed to their works measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Measurable Expectations (ME).
Unique Innovation & Technologies
SW & Sons Group employs several Computer Integrated Engineering (CIE) technologies to reduce time-to-market, prevent costly mistakes, flexible and fast to adjust changing needs with less risks and investment from design, prototype, alpha build, pre-production, mass production until after-sales services and supports. With "rapid design", "rapid prototype" and "rapid tooling" technologies, we can really speed up time and reduce investment cost ready for mass production with intended perfection from the beginning. All PPAP documents, engineering data, drawings, ISIR, PSW, and other QS documents are transferred electronically and communicated directly between our SAP-ERP servers, our OE customers, our key suppliers, and our mfg. plants, offices, warehouses around the world in an instant real-time. Moreover, we regularly use VDO Conference to communicate with our OE customers, our HQ's Technical Center, and key suppliers in real-time during product launch, QC/QA issues, verify & confirm specifications, and logistics matter.
SW & Sons Group extensively sources globally and manufacture over 90% of all high engineered parts in-house from casting, forging, stamping, turning, boring, knurling, grinding, lapping, broaching, gear cutting & grinding with heat & chemical treatment, painting, final assembly, and durability & functional testing. Manufacturing with FMS, Robotics technology, CNC & Windows based application:, UGS/NX & Solid Works, in-house is essential to control quality, control cost, and control time-to-market. Moreover, we integrate backward to design, fabricate, and re-sharpen most of our special cutting tools: hob, shave, and broach cutters, ball noses, steps drills, and special taps, in-house to reduce cycle-time and purchasing cost. Often, our R&D and Mfg. Division will design and build special-purpose machines to meet our OE customers' required cycle-time. All of our production data, QC data, logistics data, and employees' performances can be monitored by our senior management, department managers, section heads, and each individual effectively and proactively on daily basis on our SAP-ERP system. In return, each and everyone at SW & Sons Group will increase speed, performance, open-communication, and actions to solve any bottle-necks or urgent problems from sales, engineering, quality control, purchasing, logistics, and after-sales services within one shot.
Design , Research & Development
At SW & Sons Group, we spend significant resources to develop and improve our components quality, CNC machines, mfg. processes, and human resources continuously to support and satisfy the rapid changing OE customers' new requirements to be cheaper, faster, safer, lighter, smaller, but yet more powerful. We do share information & findings as well as join developments with local universities and institutions to enhance better resource utilization. Over the years, several international experts have visited SW & Sons Group to discuss technical collaborative and marketable knowledge. In return, end users would receive benefits with cheaper, safer, and better products at a rapid time. Moreover, SW & Sons Group creates a special unit, called Advanced Research Department (ARD), to maximize both very advanced and existing technologies to develop a product and process technologies keep benefiting to our OE customers and end uses in years to come.
Find , Keep & Involve Suppliers Globally
SW & Sons Group always realizes globally competitions from strengths, weaknesses, resources and political standpoints. No one and no country can be best in everything. SW & Sons-USA, in particular, can manufacture in the USA more competitive than China, India, and Thailand for certain types of part, depending on weight, size, lead-time, and quantity. SW & Sons-Europe is also competitive for certain types of product than importing from our other Group companies. Therefore, among ourselves we always share resources, sometimes compete, to build our strengths to compete globally and locally.

Our suppliers in India, China, and Thailand are, no questions, very competitive and able to export parts and components to our "high cost" plants: USA, German, UK, and Japan for some certain types of product. Relatively low labor cost on high skilled workforce is not necessarily able to export competitive globally, but it has high potential to success. Nonetheless, all imported products delivered to our OE customer worldwide are always ensured, quality controlled, and service supported by the local management members or sales representative in each country.
Continuously Improvements & Keizen
SW & Sons is specialized and supplies strictly OEM high precision-machined components, no after-market products. By doing what we do best, we continuously and rapidly improve of our QCD system to be able to support our OE customers' new products & services around the world. Furthermore, with our Kaizen, 6-Sigma, TQM, TPM, Poka Yoke, "Work-Out", DOE, SPC, QOS, 8-D, and KPI implemented continuously in cross-functional teamwork basis, we can continuously provide "cost-reduction" opportunities from design to mass production stage and beyond to our OE customers.
